The Brief

3DPrint runs contract FDM production in Irpin — serial batches of plastic components for FPV and aeromodelling teams, R&D groups, industrial and agricultural clients. The same shop also sells ready-made models and takes one-off orders, so three very different buyers arrive at the same door. Capacity was never the problem; the problem was that every inquiry started with the same question — what will my batch cost — and answering it by phone slowed the sales team down. The site had to answer that question before a manager ever picked up the phone.

What Was Built

1. One page that carries the whole production line

Everything ships on a single URL: services, a 3D Models Hub showcase, the per-gram price grid, the calculator, a printer-fleet breakdown, an eight-step production process, six audience segments and an FAQ. Anchor navigation plus a dedicated mobile menu keep a long industrial page navigable on a phone in the workshop.

2. A calculator that mirrors the real price grid

Buyers pick a material (PLA, PET-G, LW-PLA), set the weight of a single part with a slider or a numeric field, enter quantity, and get batch weight plus an estimate in return. The tricky part was the pricing logic: the per-gram rate steps down by total batch weight, so the calculator has to resolve the right tier and name it in the result. Complex geometry gets flagged for individual quoting, and the output always states that the final price is confirmed after the file is reviewed — an estimate that never over-promises.

3. Requests routed straight to Telegram

The lead form captures the name, preferred channel (Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber, Signal or phone), task type and a link to an STL/STEP/OBJ file, and posts to a server-side lead endpoint that notifies the sales team in Telegram. Telegram is also offered as a first-class entry point in five places on the page, including straight from the calculator, so an engineer can hand over a file in the channel they already work in.

The Result

Buyers now self-qualify before contact.

  • They arrive with a material, a batch weight and a realistic price range instead of an open question.
  • Sales sees each request in seconds, in the messenger they already watch.
  • Small orders, ready-made models and multi-ton contract runs all funnel through the same page without a separate sales script.

Stack: Next.js App Router with Tailwind CSS, statically prerendered at build time and served from cache behind Cloudflare — there's no CMS layer, the content ships in the code. next/image with 1x/2x srcSet and lazy loading, self-hosted woff2 fonts via next/font, a custom POST-only lead endpoint, and a light/dark palette that follows the system theme automatically. Measurement is wired end to end: GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel and LocalBusiness structured data.
