Okland

A language school now qualifies its own inquiries: a free CEFR placement test grades every visitor, and each request reaches managers in Telegram with the level already attached.

The Brief

Okland has been a client since the first build, close to a decade ago. The site described the school well enough, but it did nothing with the people who landed on it: every inquiry arrived as a bare "call me," with no idea of the person's level, language or goal, so managers spent the first call on discovery instead of on selling a course.

What Was Built

1. A placement test as the front door

The site now opens with a free level test — 20 questions on the CEFR scale from A1 to C1, run separately for English, German and Polish, no registration required, about five minutes to complete. The result page explains the level and recommends a specific course, then hands the visitor into a request form already tagged with the outcome. The test also lives at three standalone URLs, one per language.

2. Leads that reach a human in seconds

Both forms post to a single server-side lead route that formats the submission and delivers it straight to the managers' Telegram, so a request gets answered from a phone instead of sitting in an inbox nobody checks on a Saturday. Delivery has a fallback path, so a failed send never means a lost lead.

3. A page for every intent

Sixteen course pages sit under three language hubs, alongside a separate translation-services line, each with its own hand-written title, description and single H1. LanguageSchool structured data carries all three Lutsk addresses, both phone numbers and the school's social profiles, so the locations and contacts are machine-readable for local search.

The Result

Visitors self-qualify before a manager spends a minute on them.

  • Requests arrive with the level and the recommended course already attached.
  • Every course has its own page instead of a paragraph inside one generic homepage.
  • GA4 fires a custom generate_lead event on each successful submission, so the school can see which course page actually produces inquiries.

Stack: Hand-authored static pages with compiled Tailwind CSS and a vanilla-JS quiz engine, plus one server route for lead delivery, self-hosted behind Cloudflare. No framework bundle ships to the browser, which is why the pages stay fast on the mobile connections most of this audience uses.
