The Brief

Ekabeauty started in Rivne as a local cosmetics seller and needed a store that could carry a nationwide multi-brand assortment instead of a single-brand showcase. The brief was scale without chaos: thousands of products across dozens of premium brands, with a shopper still able to reach the right jar in a few clicks.

What Was Built

1. A full WooCommerce storefront

Catalog, product pages with gallery, attributes and reviews, cart with quick-buy, customer accounts, wishlist, gift certificates and a loyalty page. Content pages, blog and contact forms were left editable by the client's own team, with no developer in the loop.

2. Filters for a catalog this size

Product data was modeled as custom WooCommerce attribute taxonomies — brand, country of origin, purpose, product type — so the catalog filters by far more than category and price, with live counts on every option. Each filter value is addressable at its own URL instead of living only in a query string, which is what makes brand and attribute pages usable as destinations for ads — and what has to survive intact if the store ever moves to another platform.

3. Delivery, payment, feeds and alerts

Checkout was wired to Nova Poshta (branch and address delivery), courier delivery and in-store pickup, with shipping rules tied to a free-delivery threshold; payment covers cash to the courier, cash on delivery through the carrier, and card or Apple Pay online. A product feed was prepared for Google Merchant Center so the catalog could run Shopping campaigns, and new orders are pushed into Telegram so the team sees them without sitting in the admin.

The Result

A multi-brand assortment in the thousands runs as self-serve.

  • Shoppers filter their own way to a product instead of scrolling one long category.
  • Orders arrive in the channel the team already uses, without anyone sitting in the admin.
  • The catalog is structured to feed paid channels instead of being retyped for them.
  • Built in 2023; since then the client's own team has run and expanded it — today the catalog holds 3,200+ products across 96 brands and 21 categories.

Stack: WordPress + WooCommerce on a customized Woodmart theme with Elementor Pro — the work was catalog data modeling, filter architecture, delivery and payment integration, feed preparation and order notifications, and the client's own team has continued building on it since. That same knowledge of how a large WooCommerce catalog is wired underneath is what makes a later move off WooCommerce safe: taxonomies, filter URLs and product routes carry over cleanly.
